Igor at VIP Classic Moulding was extremely experienced and helpful. I gave him my room measurements and he figured out the amount of panels I’d need. I had planned on installing it myself and when Igor delivered the material he spent some extra time giving me a few tips on how to install the panels in the best looking way possible. I’m no carpenter and was able to install the panels on two walls in two different rooms in just two days.
The rooms look great and really elevate the wow factor. After extensive research the panels from VIP Classic Moulding are some of best I’ve seen. Really great quality and really great customer service!! Now I just need to figure out what room I should do next.

We use walnut and oak woods to create our acoustic wood wall slat panels. Our selection of wood comes in different finishes including natural walnut, natural white oak, technical grey, natural oiled oak, and natural black oak.

Avoid using chemicals and rubbing or soaking the slats. Dampen a sponge with water and mild dish soap to wipe down the surface of the panels. You can also use a handheld vacuum or a small vacuum nozzle to remove dust and debris. Examples of non-chemical products you may use include Bona, Pine-Sol, and Dawn.

Without reinforcement, a wood slat wall can hold approximately 12 pounds per bracket when positioned 12 inches away from the wall. A reinforced wood slat wall can hold about 50 pounds per bracket when placed 12 inches from the wall.

We equip our acoustic wood slat panels with a backing of soundproof felt that covers both the back of the wood slats and the wall behind the panels.

LED strips typically come with adhesive backings or screws for easy attachment. You can also visit our online store to find COB LED lights that fit perfectly between our wood slats and include the option of installation within the Toronto and GTA area.

Our acoustic wood slat panels can be mounted on any surface. The felt backing even allows you to install the panels on curved surfaces.

You have the option to install acoustic wood wall slat panels either horizontally or vertically. You can trim your panels to fit into any space, including on ceilings, half walls, and underneath counter tops.

Panels can be in bathrooms and kitchens, as long as they’re not directly exposed to water. Applying a water-resistant finish to the front of the slats will provide additional protection against moisture and humidity.

For the best results, we recommend using our acoustic wood slat panels indoors only.
